I started this blog to record our motorcycle touring holidays, to capture events while they were still fresh, and to let friends and family know where we were and what was going on. It has extended to cover other topics that people may be interested in, including beekeeping, allotmenteering, fishing, and anything else which is either photogenic or prone to amusing disasters.
Most recently we bought a caravan. After packing up in a thunderstorm, we decided that our camping days under canvas were over, so we’ve progressed to a tin tent instead. Plenty of learning experiences to be had with a caravan, we’ve found!

Ibrahim, I’d be more than happy to give you some eggs for hatching next season when they start to lay once again. The problem would be that the eggs would lose their fertility if I were to post them to Turkey! If you plan to visit London next year, we could make an arrangement to meet. Best regards, John
