This is what we came for! Riding along the shore of Lake Superior, with the sun shining, and a cool breeze to make the riding conditions just about perfect!

shows the lake on our right, and the wooded hills on our left. The logging trucks are a frequent sight. And that’s mainly what we’ve done all day, with stops for coffee, and chatting to people who come over to admire the bikes or who are curious to know who we are and where we’re going.

I forgot to mention when you wrote about Hiawatha that we have a middle school here named Longfellow and in Holland, Michigan 2 of our kids went to an elementary school also named Longfellow – have a great time in Ontario…
